Full house interior painted “Gus was probably slightly more pricey than other painters. But paying that little bit more was worth it. He was reliable, professional and the quality of his work was very good. He always answers the phone and responds to messages - this may seem like a trivial issue but sometimes it’s hard to get through to people you hire for jobs like this. He did what was agreed from the outset and his advice and recommendations were really good. We asked him to come back after he job was complete and after we had paid him as we noticed a few tiny areas that needed a bit more paint. Gus was happy to return.”

“Requested quote for a last minute job as we had family coming from the US and family event at end of the week. He agreed to complete within given time frame (much shorter than normal) which he did to an excellent standard, especially when considering the state of the previous occupant's DIY. He went out of his way to help us pick colours by picking up samples so that we could try them prior to committing to a colour. Accommodated our flooring guy and came back to paint skirting. Glad to have found Gus on Checkatrade and will be requesting further work but won't be rushing him this time!”
